 Here are various updates from our life. Here are various updates from our life.
 +
 +====December 2014====
 +Here is our yearly Christmas letter:
 +
 +Happy Holidays to all of our friends and family!
 +
 +We hope that or Christmas letter finds you all happy and healthy. 2014 was an eventful year for the Nelson-Peterman family, with a lot of great experiences and opportunities.
 +
 +A really big change for use is that after almost two years living with us, Caleb is back living with his grandparents, cousins, and a biological brother. By all accounts he is doing well, and while we were very sad to see him go we are hoping he can be happy with his birth family.
 +
 +We had a lovely vacation visiting family in Utah, Arizona and Idaho (with a short trip to Las Vegas for Randy and Jerusha). Three weeks was not enough time to visit everyone, and we are sorry to have missed some people. We enjoyed Thanksgiving with great Massachusetts friends and would welcome any Western visitors for any holiday (or other occasion, for that matter).
 +
 +Claire started 4th grade this year, and enjoys singing in the Northwest Elementary Troubadours, taking jazz dance lessons from Miss Sandy at Shining Starz, and learning to play hockey with the Twin City Youth Hockey program. Claire and Randy also were able to get in a backpacking trip this summer. Claire flew on a commercial airline by herself for the first time this year as an unaccompanied minor, and despite being a bit nervous, had a great experience. Other highlights of Claire's year were visits to Six Flags and a trip to Washington DC to visit cousins James and Chip.
 +Randy is still working at Gustavo Preston Company in Chelmsford, and having fun doing IT and project management. Successful projects this year have been implementing a Customer Relationship Management software package and Documentation Management software.
 +
 +Jeri has moved from UMass Amherst to Framingham State University, and loves her new work environment. She takes Zumba classes while Claire is in her dance class. Claire was disappointed to discover that Jeri will not be in the dance recital with Zumba class.

 Randy is enjoying his job as an outside salesman for BISCO Irrigation, selling Rain Bird irrigation equipment to golf courses. He gets to work from home and drive 2,000-3,000 miles a month. In addition to his job, he is learning to golf (necessary job skill) and continuing on his path to getting his Private Pilots license. Randy is enjoying his job as an outside salesman for BISCO Irrigation, selling Rain Bird irrigation equipment to golf courses. -Our apartment is in Lowell, Massachusetts, famous for being one of the first places women could work outside of the home and as the birthplace of Jack Kerouac and James Whistler. We live in a converted mill building with high ceilings, a pool, and someone else taking care of the landscape. I do miss my garden, but not mowing the lawn. If you want to see pictures, [[http://www.rpeterman.com/photos|click here]]+Our apartment is in Lowell, Massachusetts, famous for being one of the first places women could work outside of the home and as the birthplace of Jack Kerouac and James Whistler.  We recently took advantage of our East Coast location and spent Memorial Day in New York City. We did the tourist thing, visiting Times Square, the Empire State Building, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Rockefeller Center, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park and as many pizza joints as we could. Our hotel was across from Madison Square Gardens, and really close to many of the attractions. We recently took advantage of our East Coast location and spent Memorial Day in New York City.
